SUPERMEN IS DEAD

SID, punk rock pioneers of Bali, were born and bred in Kuta Rock City. The band is three chord attitude-heavy young men, by name:
" Bobby Kool (lead vocal, guitar, a dog lover and a graphic designer)
" Eka Rock (low ridin' family man, beer drinker, laid back bass and backing vocal and a warm smilin' Rock 'N Roll bandman)
" Jrx ( low ridin' beer drinking Rock 'N Roll prince charming, drummer and a hairwax junkie)
The name 'Superman is Dead' started its' evolution from Stone Temple Pilot's "Superman Silvergun". The name moved on to "Superman is Dead" cause they like the idea that there's no such thing as a perfect person out there.

SID actually stumbled together in '95, drawn by their common love of Green Day and NOFX. Their influences soon extended to the punk 'n roll genre a la Supersuckers, Living End and Social Distortion, and here they stay. They say what they wanna say, how they wanna say it. In your face, to say it precisely.
SID public image, self described, is "PunkRockaBali" (think raw energy of NOFX vs Social Distortion supersonically fueled with beer-soaked Balinese Rockabilly attitude).

History? SID produced their first three albums independently (the boys worked years of crappy night jobs), with fabulous, small scale indie labels 1997 "Case 15", 1999 "Superman is Dead", 2002 "Bad, Bad, Bad"(mini album, 6 tracks). In March 2003 SID finally signed with Sony-BMG Indonesia after extended negotiations regarding their right to sing the majority of their tracks in English and have full artistic rights over their 'image'!! With that decision they single handedly became the first band from Bali to be invited to sign with a major recording label in Indonesia, the first band in their nation (to my knowledge) to be recording majority of songs in English, AND the first punk band in Indonesia to get the national exposure and promotion that working with a major label in a third world country provides. And so the history of Indonesian Punk Rock begins!

And as for the question that everyone wants to know.the infamous bomb in Bali happened about 75M from their home, hangout center, punkrock boutique, bar and rehearsal studio that is also Jerinx' house, in the heart of Kuta. After panel beating back the rolling doors of the studio, and shifting a little debris, rehearsals continued as usual. Yeah, they saw a lot, it sucked big time, but its' not gonna stop 'em!

And where are they now? At the end of 2002, one of the more respectable music mags here cited SID as "The Next Big Thing" for 2003. With the release of their fourth album, "Kuta Rock City", followed by major airplay nationally and in some countries overseas, coupled with the instantpopularity of their newest filmclip. SID suddenly find themselves touring continuously throughout Indonesia. Last week they were in four major Indonesian cities, on three islands, in 7 days!

Sometimes playing for free at underground scene clubs, sometimes at street skate parties or alternative band festivals, at lots of universities, and even occasionally at "classy" venues who would have probably denied them entrance years ago! Which means more beers for all.

In 2003 SID even got a mention in Time Asia. They also won a few music awards. MTV Awards for Best New Artist 2003, AMI Awards for The Best New Artist 2003. Nominated again in AMI Awards 2007 for Best Rock Album. October 2007 they did an amazing Australian tour, 8 cities, 16 gigs, 33 days with their strong D.I.Y work ethic. SID had share stages with international bands such as NOFX, MXPX and Hoobastank. They remain proud, boys from the streets of Kuta with a love of punk rock, beers and a good time. Ready for whatever comes next, excited about the next gig.

Navicula was formed in 1996 in Denpasar, Bali by two musician activists: Robi and Dankie. After changing personnels numerous times, the current formation is: Rob (vocals, guitar), Dankie (guitar), Made (bass), and Gembull (drums). The name Navicula was inspired by a type of single celled golden algae, which is shaped like a small ship (in Latin Navicula means small ship).Their music has a grunge rock undertone, but is combined with many other genres of sound, such as ethnic, psychedelic, alternative, progressive, and straight forward rock. The band's lyrics are heavy with activism messages of Peace, Love and Freedom. Though the band has always been active in the indie music scene, in 2004 they signed a contract with Sony-BMG, a major label. Navicula released their 4th album, Alkemis, with sony-BMG. But, in 2007 they released their 5th album, Beautiful Rebel, independently and returned to following their ideals through the indie music scene. Navicula is based in Bali, but as an independent band, they continue to keep up a national profile. Since releasing their 5th album they have already began promotion through Java. TWO ICE QUEEN

Band ini terbentuk lantaran lahirnya sebuah ide untuk membawakan musik dengan aliran dan karakter baru yang berbeda dengan band-band yang sudah ada. Gung Gus dan Gung Sony sebagai pencetus pertama terbentuknya band ini sangat berambisius untuk menuangkan ide mereka yang pada akhirnya mereka berhasil mewujudkan sebuah band yang mengusung aliran yang berbau GOTHIC. Februari, satu hari setelah perayaan Valentine Day tepatnya tanggal 15 Februari 2006 band Gothic ini terbentuk dengan nama TWO ICE QUEEN yang beranggotakan 6 orang diantaranya Shanty (Vocal), Gung Sony (Gitar), Gung Udien,s (Gitar), Gung Gus (Bass), Dek Benz (Keyboard), dan Gung De (Drum). Setelah berjalan beberapa pekan dan kita perhatikan, ternyata band kita hanya menggunakan satu Vocal, sementara “Two Ice Queen” berarti Dua Ratu Es. sehingga melihat kejanggalan yang ada, pada akhirnya kita sepakat untuk mencari satu vocal lagi agar sesuai dengan nama band kita. Maka pada akhir bulan maret masuklah veanne (triana) sebagai vocalis kedalam band kita sehingga Two Ice Queen digawangai oleh dua orang vocalis (Triana dan SHanty). Personel band kita (Two Ice Queen) merupakan comotan dari beragam group band lama seperti Ritual Crypt, Hard Drive, Balshabuth, Royal Dozi, Sepilis, dan Black Shadow. Sejak berdiri band ini terinfluence dari band gothic “WITHIN TEMPTATION” . Dari awal terbentuk sampai sekarang Two Ice Queen telah beberapa kali mengalami gonta-ganti personil dan formasi diantaranya Dek Benz pada keyboard yang saat itu masih memiliki band Top 40 jadi dia super sibuk, sehingga digantikan oleh Wah Balung yang dulu merupakan keyboardis group band YUKE. Seiring berjalannya waktu Wah Balung juga keluar dari Two Ice Queen karena kesibukan sendiri yang kemudian digantikan oleh Gung Udien,s pada posisi gitar beralih ke posisi keyboard. Setelah kita manggung di suatu acara ternyata kita merasa tidak sreg bermain dengan formasi yang telah terbentuk, sehingga Two Ice Queen sepakat untuk menambah personil baru untuk mengisi kekosongan pada posisi gitar . Maka bergabunglah Gung Zeme yang dulu merupakan guitaris band MUMMY pada posisi guitar sehingga lengkaplah personil Band Two Ice Queen menjadi 7 orang, namun setelah pertengahan tahun 2008 kembali two ice queen harus kehilangan personil yaitu Gung Sony karena perbedaan visi dalam bermusik, sehingga bergabunglah Gung Surya keyboardis dari Band Ritual Crypt ke band Two Ice Queen pada posisi guitar. Jadi personil tetap Two Ice Queen saat ini diantaranya: Vocalis : Veanne Vocalis : Shanne. Guitaris : Gung Surya. Guitaris : Gung Zeme. Bassis : Gung Gus. Keyboardis : Gung Udien,s. Drumer : Gung De.

we've been around since January 2005.. not that long ago, huh?? We r from a small but beautiful island in Indonesia, called BALI! there are 4 of us in the band. SARI (vocals), SOGOL (guitar), ARIE (bass), and RISKY (drums). We got together.... hmm.. i dunno... in sum wierd way.. we just sort of bumped into each other i suppose.. haha... but now... after a while, we felt that we needed an extra guy in the band.. so now the members of the band are : Sari (Vocals) Sogol (Guitar & Back Voc.) Arie (Guitar) Sodick (Bass) Risky (Drums) anyway... we r a punk rock band, that tries to show the world what exactly lays down... way down in our brains and hearts... with a little mix of other genres aswell... like grunge, metal, country, and (what else? can't think...!!) whatever we feel like when we r writing our songs... coz we have this belief that whatever music we make, it's the though that counts! right? well... we have a few songs on this site.. so if ur interested u could check them out... Nymphea adalah salah satu band alternative rock dari pulau dewata Bali yang berdiri pada tanggal 4 Januari 2005, dengan formasi awal adalah Sari (vocals), CGL (gitar), Arie (bass) dan Risky (drums). Namun karena merasa Nymphea kurang klop karena tidak adanya gitaris rhythm maka akhirnya CGL marngajak adiknya Sodick untuk bermain bass di Nymphea dan Arie yang tadinya bermain Bass akhirnya bermain gitar di Nymphea. Tetapi pada pertengahan tahun 2007 ini, Risky dan Arie mengundurkan diri dari Nymphea karena disibukkan oleh pekerjaannya yang menuntut dia harus fokus dalam karirnya. Dan untuk mengisi posisi drum akhirnya Nymphea di bantu oleh Aguzt drummer dari band punk The Menace. Dan karena akhirnya Nymphea merasa cocok dengan permainan drum Aguzt maka diangkatlah dia menjadi personil tetap, hingga formasi Nymphea hingga saat ini:

Nama Nymphea sendiri diambil dari bahasa Inggris “Nymph” yang berarti bidadari, dan untuk memudahkan pengucapannya ditambahkanlah huruf “e” dan “a” dibelakang kata “nymph” sehingga menjadi Nymphea. Nymphea sendiri dalam memainkan musiknya banyak terpengaruh band-band Punk Rock dan Grunge seperti AFI, Sugar Cult, Nirvana, Foo Fighter dan Hole. Pada pertengahan tahun 2005 Nymphea merilis sebuah mini album sebanyak 500 keping cd dan membagikannya secara gratis kepada teman-teman, fans, media lokal, pengamat musik dan event-event organizer. Akan tetapi saat Sari melanjutkan studinya di Australia dia membawa cd mini album Nymphea dan dijual secara hand by hand disana seharga AUS $ 5 dan laku hingga 100 keping cd.
Menurut beberapa pengamat musik, Nymphea merupakan band yang memiliki vocal wanita dengan karakter yang kuat dan enerjik, serta dibalut dengan musik yang cadas bernafaskan Rock. Bagi pecinta musik yang tinggal di Pulau Dewata ini pasti tidak asing dengan band yang rajin menyambangi pentas besar maupun pentas kecil, dari pensi-pensi sekolah hingga sampai ajang musik terbesar di Indonesia yaitu Soundrenaline.

pada bulan agustus 2008 ini Nymphea baru saja merilis full albumnya di bawah label Petslooser dan Proton Records dan distribusikan secara nasional oleh Virgo Ramayana Records.

PARAU

Pada awal kiprahnya Parau yang terbentuk pada September 2002 ini banyak dipengaruhi oleh band Hardcore seperti Rykers, Hatebreed, Earth Crisis, Strife dan Morning Again. Seiring waktu, melalui jam terbang manggung yang makin padat, pelan tapi pasti unsur Metal mulai merasuki orbit musik Parau. Sempat mengalami beberapa kali pergantian personil, justru membuat Parau makin kuat dan matang dalam berkarya.
Terobosan baru pun dilakukan dengan memberikan unsur - unsur metal untuk memperkaya musik Parau. Eksistensi band - band seperti Ark Angel, Pantera, All Shall Perish, Black Dahlia Murder, Lamb of God, Necrophagist hingga Faceless, sangat berpengaruh pada playlist pribadi masing-masing personel sampai akhirnya Parau benar - benar bertransformasi menjadi band Metal. Selain itu musik Parau juga dikemas dengan taste masing - masing personil sehingga menghasilkan musik dengan distorsi berat dan beat menghentak yang dapat membangkitkan adrenalin yang enak untuk didengar dan dinikmati.
Resep Metal racikan Parau bisa dikategorikan cukup spesifik : penulisan lirik yang peka dan cerdas, berpondasi pada “Tri Hita Karana” ( hubungan horizontal antar sesama manusia, manusia dengan alam ; serta vertikal antara manusia dengan Sang Pencipta ). Dalam penciptaan lagu dan aksinya diatas panggung Parau banyak menyuarakan pesan – pesan moral, kepedulian terhadap kehidupan sosial manusia dan lingkungan hidup. Peka terhadap realita situasi dan kondisi roda kehidupan manusia di dunia merupakan bahan utama bagi Parau dalam penciptaan lagu sebagai respon kepedulian terhadap jalannya kehidupan.
Atas kepedulian tersebut pada akhir tahun 2008, Parau memperoleh penghargaan sebagai band yang peduli terhadap lingkungan dalam sebuah event bertajuk Bali Jamfest. Sebuah manuver yang tentu tidak mudah, namun Parau mampu mengeksekusinya dengan baik, publik muda pun meresponsnya dengan penuh gairah.

Awal bulan september 2002, terciptalah sebuah formasi kecil, yaitu'DEFORMED INSIDE', dimana ingin membawakan tema tentang kerusakan di dalam bumi ini!!!. seiring waktu yang berjalan, dan salah satu masalah besar terjadi"RIP : WIRA" salah satu personil kami telah meninggal dunia, akhirnya formasi, nama"DEFORMED INSIDE" berubah menjadi"DEFORMED"..

GEEKSSMILE

Rock / Rap / Hardcore

Terbentuk di belantara Underground DENPASAR-BALI pada bulan September 2000. Di awal terbentuknya, GEEKSSMILE terdiri dari Prima (RAP/ Vocal), Dede (Gitar), Ogi (Bass), Reno (Sampling), dan Nurdi (drum). Pada bulan Desember 2001, Yuri (RAP/Vocal) masuk untuk menambah keberingasan musik GEEKSSMILE.

Realitas ternyata kurang bersahabat pada kami, tahun 2004 Noerdi (drum) pergi ke Bandung untuk meneruskan studinya ke UNPAR disusul Reno (Sampling) yang pergi ke Jakarta untuk membangun karirnya di bidang multimedia, GEEKSSMILE vakum, yang membuat Ogi (bass) memilih untuk berhenti ngeband dan berkonsentrasi pada pekerjaannya sebagai programer software.

Tahun 2006, dengan bekal semangat dan faith, GEEKSSMILE mencoba untuk bangkit dan berhasil kembali ke medan perang yang kemudian ditindaklanjuti dengan merekrut Riza (bass) dan Pakis (drum). Semua personil GEEKSSMILE mempunyai kegilaan yang sama terhadap corak musik yang diusung oleh Rage Against The Machine (RATM) dan memilih salah satu jenis pengkotakan yang dinamakan Rap-Rock sebagai identitas dalam bermusik.

Setelah akhirnya bosan dan telah menguasai seluruh lagu RATM pada album I (rage against the machine) dan juga beberapa lagu pada album II (Evil Empire), III (The Battle Of Los Angeles) dan album IV (RAGE), maka akhirnya band ini sepakat untuk mencari tantangan baru, yaitu membuat musik dan lirik sendiri dan tidak lagi menjadi band pengcover RATM. Dalam membuat dan mengaransemen musik, GEEKSSMILE kemudian bereksperimen dengan meramu musik rock ala RATM dengan musik lain seperti Hard Core, Punk dan Metal. Pada segi musik ini otoritas paling besar diberikan kepada personil yang memainkan instrumen musik (gitar, bass, drum dan sampling ), sedangkan kebanyakan lirik diurus oleh para vokalis.

Kultur pergerakan di kampus yang santer membuat dua vokalis GEEKSSMILE terinspirasi untuk membuat lirik-lirik mengenai hubungan antara masyarakat dengan sistem yang berlaku. Semua personil akhirnya sepakat untuk menjadikan musik sebagai media komunikasi dalam menyampaikan ide-ide, pendapat ataupun protes terhadap hal-hal yang dianggap perlu untuk disikapi, khususnya berbagai hal yang terjadi di Indonesia. Setelah melalui berbagai tahapan proses yang cukup panjang, GEEKSSMILE akhirnya berhasil merilis album rekaman perdana yang berjudul JURNAL PERANG INDONESIA (JPI). Dimana secara konseptual album rekaman ini merupakan kumpulan artikel mengenai berbagai pertempuran yang dihadapi Indonesia pada saat dan setelah Reformasi 98. JPI sebisa mungkin ditulis dengan metode yang ilmiah (eksplorasi teori dan literatur, pengumpulan data, diskusi) agar obyektifitas dan kevalidan informasi di dalam lirik lagu lagu di Jurnal ini tetap terjaga. Tetapi bukan berarti jurnal ini memiliki kebenaran absolut dan menutup ruang-ruang perdebatan. Kritik, masukan ataupun tambahan informasi sangat diharapkan. Karena tujuan jurnal ini dibuat memang untuk berkomunikasi, dan bukan untuk memaksakan sebuah persepsi.

Other mycobacteria such as Mycobacterium bovis, Mycobacterium africanum, Mycobacterium canetti, and Mycobacterium microti also cause tuberculosis, but these species are less common in humans. The classic symptoms of tuberculosis are a chronic cough with blood-tinged sputum, fever, night sweats, and weight loss. Infection of other organs causes a wide range of symptoms. The diagnosis relies on radiology (commonly chest X-rays), a tuberculin skin test, blood tests, as well as microscopic examination and microbiological culture of bodily fluids. Tuberculosis treatment is difficult and requires long courses of multiple antibiotics. Contacts are also screened and treated if necessary. Antibiotic resistance is a growing problem in (extensively) multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis. Prevention relies on screening programs and vaccination, usually with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG vaccine). Tuberculosis is spread through the air, when people who have the disease cough, sneeze, or spit. One–third of the world's current population has been infected with M. tuberculosis, and new infections occur at a rate of one per second. However, most of these cases will not develop the full-blown disease; asymptomatic, latent infection is most common. About one in ten of these latent infections will eventually progress to active disease, which, if left untreated, kills more than half of its victims. The proportion of people in the general population who become sick with tuberculosis each year is stable or falling worldwide but, because of population growth, the absolute number of new cases is still increasing. In 2004, mortality and morbidity statistics included 14.6 million chronic active cases, 8.9 million new cases, and 1.6 million deaths, mostly in developing countries. In addition, a rising number of people in the developed world are contracting tuberculosis because their immune systems are compromised by immunosuppressive drugs, substance abuse, or AIDS. The distribution of tuberculosis is not uniform across the globe with about 80% of the population in many Asian and African countries testing positive in tuberculin tests, while only 5-10% of the US population test positive. It is estimated that the US has 25,000 new cases of tuberculosis each year, 40% of which occur in immigrants from countries where tuberculosis is endemic.
DEATH
is the permanent termination of the biological functions that define a living organism. It refers to both a particular event and to the condition that results thereby. The true nature of the latter has for millennia been a central concern of the world's religious traditions and of philosophical enquiry. Many religions maintain a belief in either some kind of afterlife or rebirth. The effect of physical death on any possible mind or soul remains for many an open question. Within the scientific community, death is frequently associated with a belief in materialism and the complete ending of mind or consciousness. Yet despite the common notion that this is a scientific viewpoint, consciousness itself has yet to be fully understood in science and psychology, and any view about the existance or non-existence of consciousness after death remains a speculative belief. Animals almost without exception (see hydra) die in due course from senescence. Intervening phenomena which commonly bring death earlier include malnutrition, predation, disease, accidents resulting in terminal physical injury, or, in extreme circumstances, grave ecosystem disruption. Intentional human activity causing death includes suicide, homicide, and war. Roughly 150,000 people die each day across the globe. Death in the natural world can also occur as an indirect result of human activity: an increasing cause of species depletion in recent times has been destruction of ecological systems as a consequence of the widening spread of industrial technology. Death in this context is now seen as less an event than a process: conditions once considered indicative of death are now reversible. Where in the process a dividing line is drawn between life and death depends on factors beyond the presence or absence of vital signs. In general, clinical death is neither necessary nor sufficient for a determination of legal death. A patient with working heart and lungs determined to be brain dead can be pronounced legally dead without clinical death occurring. Precise medical definition of death, in other words, becomes more problematic, paradoxically, as scientific knowledge and technology advance.
GRIND
of a blade refers to the shape of the cross-section of the blade. It is distinct from the type of blade (e.g., clip point or drop point knife, sabre or cutlass, axe or chisel, etc.), though different tools and blades may have lent their name to a particular grind. Grinding involves removing significant portions of metal from the blade and is thus distinct from honing and polishing. It is notably done when first sharpening the blade or when a blade has been significantly damaged or abused (such as breaking a tip, chipping, or extensive corrosion) A well maintained blade will need less frequent grinding than one which is not treated well. The terms edge angle and included angle can be important when talking about grinding. The edge angle is measured between the surface of an edge and a line running from the point of the cutting edge to the back edge. The included angle is the sum of the edge angles. All other things being equal, the smaller the included angle the sharper the blade and the easier it is to damage the edge. An appropriate grind will depend upon what the blade is to be used for and the material from which the blade is made. Knife manufacturers may offer the same model of knife with different grinds on the blade and owners of a blade may choose to reshape it as a different grind to obtain different blade properties. A tradeoff exists between a blade's ability to take an edge and its ability to keep an edge. Various grinds are easier to maintain than others or can provide a better shape over the life of the blade as the blade is worn away by repeated sharpening. A sharp object works by concentrating pressure, but high pressures can nick a thin blade or even cause it to roll over into a rounded tube when it is used against hard materials. An irregular material or angled cut is also likely to apply much more torque to hollow-ground blades due to the "lip" formed on either side of the edge. More blade material can be included directly behind the cutting edge to reinforce it, but during sharpening some proportion of this material must be removed to reshape the edge, making the process more time-consuming. Also, any object being cut must be moved aside to make way for this wider blade section, and any force distributed to the grind surface reduces the pressure applied at the edge. One way around this dilemma is to use the blade at an angle, which can make a blade's grind seem less steep, much as a switchback makes a trail easier to climb. Using the edge in this way is made easier by introducing a curve in the blade, as seen in sabers, scimitars, and katana, among many others. Some old European swords (most memorably Hrunting) and the Indonesian style of kris have a wavelike shape, with much the same effect in drawing or thrusting cuts. When speaking of Japanese edged weapons, the term niku (meat) refers to the grind of the blade: an edge with more niku is more convex and/or steep and therefore tougher, though it seems less sharp. Katana tend to have much more niku than wakizashi.

REZUME terbentuk Januari 2008. beranggotakan Memet( vocal ), Kadir ( guitar ), goestra ( bass ), dan bona ( drum ). Awalnya beraliran Slam Death Metal dengan membawakan lagu dari CANNIBAL CORPSE, CRYTOPSI, KATAKLYSM, INTERNAL BLEEDING, and more. Pertengahan tahun Rezume menambah personil pada gitar yakni Adit dari Eternal Madness dan juga pada drum dari bona digantikan oleh Bir.Dengan formasi kedua ini yakni Memet( vocal ), Kadir ( guitar ),Adit EM ( Gitar ) goestra ( bass ), dan Bir ( drum ),Rezume mulai menjajal event-event underground di Jawa dan Bali.Tahun 2009 tepatnya bulan juni rezume berkesempatan berkolaborasi dengan personil Band Slamming amerika yakni Mario Pena CONDEMNED USA untuk Jamming di FMK7 di peanut bar Kuta Bali. Bulan berikutnya tepatnya bulan Juli rezume merilis promo cd berisikan 3 lagu untuk pencinta musik brutal slaming Death metal diantaranya : BUTHCERED INTERNAL ORGAS, VAGINAL IMPALEMENT, SERTA MASOCHISME SEKSUAL. Lagu – lagu dalam promo tersebut menceritakan tentang penyimpangan penyakit seksual, pembunuhan, penyiksaan dan mutilasi yang dilakukan oleh seseorang karena ketidak puasan dari berbagai versi, cd promo bisa didapatkan secara gratis. Dalam promo cd ini aroma brutal slamming sangat kental terlihat, dari cord-cord gitar, drum hingga vocal.

Trojan is a death metal band that is exist cuz of the thirst of each member in hard and metal music. trojan was formed in 2007 with gayod as the spokeperson(groll and scream), reo as the scratching doom player, gusuma as the drummer, and andhika as the 5-strings player. we will always use our music as a media for us to speak about social concern, earth corrosion, and everything that we think is important and got our attention!! now we already have 7 songs and we are still working for more songs to complete our 1st album!!

ETERNAL MADNES

ETERNAL MADNESS Created in year 1994 by Moel Madness (bass / vocal), Cax Wisnu (guitar) and Ari separatis (drummer). While making the first album ‘Offerings to Rangda’ , the drummer resigned and with the help of an additional drummer the album was released in year 1997. At the end of year 1997, after Eternal Madness have a new drummer Johan, a semi major label ‘Rotor Corp’ asked them to join ‘metaliklinik’ the first ever compilation album that was distributed nationally in local stores with the best metal bands in Indonesia. When the band started more serious, Cax Wisnu decided to put down his guitar and stoped his music career, then he was replaced by Didot (1999). At the same year Johan resigned, since that , Eternal Madness used drum machine when was asked again to join Metaliklinik 3 compilation and released the second album ‘Bongkar Batas’. In 2002 Death Ra replaced Didot .

INFERNAL DESIRE

Salah satu band yg masa itu terjerumus dalam lumpur kubangan Corpse 19-21 Grinder dan diselimuti bayang-bayang nama Triple Six adalah INFERNAL DESIRE, ya grombolan begundal ini dibentuk pada pertengahan Mei 1997 oleh Kadek Wier (ex Triple Six) dan Putu Adhi (ex Yankee Rose) yang secara kebetulan bertemu pada suatu event musik di Denpasar dan berlanjut membicarakan tentang membentuk sebuah band metal baru dengan nama Infernal Desire dimana nama tersebut diambil dari salah satu judul lagu milik Malevolent Creation sebagai salah satu inspirator dan ide-ide musik yang akan dicipta sudah terkonsep dalam benak masing-masing.

Kemudian bertemu Jember (ex Triple Six) yang bersedia menjadi vokalis dan Gung De menjadi bassist. Saat itu Infernal Desire belum memiliki Drummer tetap, dimana tercatat Gus Tut (Rotten Soul) dan Leonk (Demonstration Effect) sebagai sessionist pada drums.

Infernal Desire mulai menggebrak event metal pada bulan Juni 1997 pada saat diselenggarakannya event Forum Musik Komplikasi I, membawa cover song dari Malevolent Creation, Deranged dan Six Feet Under. Tahun 1998 Gung De (Bass) mengundurkan diri selanjutnya digantikan oleh Goen sebagai sessionist dari band Grindcore Debtor dan menemukan drummer tetap yaitu dengan masuknya Kum-Kum (ex Bassist Rottens Soul) pada event Forum Musik Komplikasi IV. Tak lama kemudian Jember (vocal) mengundurkan diri digantikan oleh Yoyox, sedang posisi bassist diisi oleh Komang Dirga (ex Demise God), pada event Forum Musik Komplikasi V, membawakan musik cover dari Brutal Truth dan Broken Hope. Di tahun 1999, Komang Dirga mengundurkan karena melanjutkan studi diluar daerah dan digantikan oleh Putu Tommy (ex Astral Abortus). Infernal Desire mulai menciptakan musik sendiri dengan corak serta warna musik diambil dari berbagai influence, serta lirik lagu yang banyak menyampaikan keadaan sosial disekitar Infernal Desire pada kurun waktu tersebut.

Pada periode th 2000, Infernal Desire beserta beberapa band Underground di Bali, bekerjasama dengan Underdog State, membuat 2 album kompilasi yaitu “Underdog Society 2 dan At Hell’s Gate”, serta ikut dalam event-event Undergound di Denpasar, maupun di luar Denpasar.

Pada bulan April-Mei 2003 Infernal Desire merekam album pertama, berisi 10 lagu karya Infernal Desire sejak tahun 1997-2003, yang diberi judul “FFFF” (Feel Free For Fuck) dimana bagi kami kata tersebut memiliki arti kebebasan dalam berekpresi, memiliki idealisme serta pandangan hidup kedepan, serta berpikiran terbuka. Namun pada proses rekaman, Tommy mengundurkan diri karena kesibukannya dan posisi bassist dirangkap oleh Putu Adhi (guitar), kemudian digantikan oleh Komang Krisnawa / Lenkkonk (ex Rotten Soul/Disharmonic Distortion), akhirnya digantikan lagi oleh Komang Dirga yang telah kembali dari studinya.

Untuk menggantikan Putu Adhi saat tidak dapat mengikuti event, Made Dharma “Donkkank”Suyasa (ex Yankee Rose) mengisi kekosongan tersebut sebagai guitarist hingga saat ini.

Album ini dirilis pada bulan Maret 2004 secara indie label, diproduseri oleh Infernal Desire sendiri, serta didistribusikan kedistro-distro di kota Denpasar dan sekitarnya, serta keluar daerah seperti Yogyakarta, Bandung, Purwokerto, Malang, Jakarta dsb.

Infernal Desire tidak berkarya hanya untuk sekedar gagah-gagahan untuk mencari popularitas dengan menjadi yang paling hebat, atau yang paling brutal, namun Infernal Desire berkarya untuk mengungkapkan “kejujuran” dari suatu idealisme dalam bermusik, serta berusaha untuk menampilkan suatu karya seni musik berbasik metal yang artistik dari perpaduan nada-nada disharmoni, serta mencoba untuk tidak mengikuti aturan-aturan pada musik metal itu sendiri. Di bulan maret 2005 Infernal Desire dengan beberapa band metal Bali ikut dalam rekaman Grindcorner Bali Compilation “Grind at the corner“. Seiring berjalannya waktu, di bulan Oktober 2005 Yoyox mengundurkan diri karena suatu kesibukannya hingga Infernal Desire sempat dibantu oleh vocalist Deformed Inside Agus Botak dibeberapa events. Diawal tahun 2006 Infernal Desire akhirnya mendapatkan vocalist baru yaitu I Made Adi Putrawan atau di panggil Dek Ulong (eks Gorehate). Seiring berjalannya waktu, berbagai tawaran untuk ikut dalam kompilasipun berdatangan dari berbagai daerah di luar Bali diantaranya Kompilasi Sisa Mutilasi bunuh diri dari Horrible Creation Extreme Music Media Bandung, Extreme Brutal Violence Compilation dari Brutal Production Bekasi, Epidemic of Brutality Compilation dari Psychosm Production Makassar serta sebuah kompilasi International dari Germany “Mystical Music Compilation” .

Pada pertengahan tahun 2007 Kumkum (Drummer) keluar daerah karena suatu pekerjaannya yang belum bisa diperkirakan entah sampai kapan diluar daerah, untuk sementara posisi Drum ditempati oleh Tonny (Gerbang 13). Dan hingga kini walaupun keseluruhan anggota Infernal Desire sibuk dengan pekerjaan masing-masing, mereka masih tetap aktif dibeberapa event.

TRIPLE SIX

Triple Six, sebuah grup band metal asal Bali berdiri tahun 1995 yang pada awalnya di dirikan oleh insan-insan penggemar musik metal yang tergabung dalam wadah “DEATHRASHER 19-21 BALI CORPSEGRINDER” dengan menjadikan salah satu radio swasta sebagai tempat ngumpul-ngumpul (Base Camp) nya. Berawal dari keinginan yang besar untuk membentuk sebuah group band metal yang pada saat itu masih jarang dan masih di pandang sebelah mata oleh sebagian insan musik, maka terbentuklah group Triple Six yang berarti tiga angka enam yang personilnya terdiri dari : Dek Bens : Bass Wier : Guitar Vondalt : Guitar Dwi : Drums Jember : Vocal Berbagai event besar dan kecil, baik di Bali maupun luar Bali pernah di jajal diantaranya : Sunday Hot Music, Forum Musik Komplikasi, Granat, Indienamite, Black Valentine, Parade Band Liberty, Sounderground, Remembering 19-21, Lounching Album Grindcorner Compilation dan masih banyak lagi. Pada Februari 1999 Triple Six telah mengeluarkan album pertama berjudul : INSISTENT BUTHCHERY OF MASSACRE dan telah banyak terlibat dalam album-album compilasi dalam dan luar negeri. Terakhir Triple Six ikut serta dalam Grindcorner Compilations (2005) dengan menyumbang sebuah lagu : Ratu Pujangga dengan di bantu dua personil dari Jerman yakni Task (guitar) dari group Dazed dan Jan (backing vocal) dari Group Sinners Bleed. Selama dalam perjalannya Triple Six mengalami beberapa kali pergantian personil, terakhir bergabunglah dua personil muda berbakat sekaligus mengisi posisi guitar dan drums. Dengan bergabungnya dua personil baru ini secara tidak langsung berpengaruh besar dengan karakter musik yang kami mainkan. Dengan mengambil influence dari group Devourment, Disavowed, Dead of Flesh, Digested Flesh kami sepakat berada di jalur Brutal Gore Grind. Itu tercermin dari lagu-lagu yang beberapa materinya sudah rampung untuk persiapan album kedua Triple Six. Target kami pada awal 2008 nanti kami sudah bisa masuk dapur rekaman lagi dan siap menghajar telinga metalhead Bali dan Indonesia. Grindcore

Nama yang kami ambil dari sebuah buku tebal berjudul Life Style Ecstacy yang merupakan cikal bakal awal terbentuknya band ini. Antipop terbentuk pada pertengahan tahun 2001 dan sempat fakum selama hampir 2 tahun. Setelah mencapai kata sepakat dengan perombakan formasi terdahulu akhirnya antipop kembali aktif di awal tahun 2004 dengan formasi yang lebih solid plus konsep musik yang berbeda dari sebelumnya.

Bebek (Vokal), Sorrow (Gitar), Kuzkuz (Gitar), Dodik (Bass) dan Agus (Drum) mencoba memadukan konsep berbeda antara musik Death Metal dan Punk yang pastinya akan menjadi konsep baru dr musik antipop kedepannya. sebagai pilihan, konsep musik Grindcore yang berdurasi kurang dari 2 menit dengan gaungan vokal yang garang, serta gebukan drum yang kencang dibalut dengan sound yang sedikit kasar, kritikan lirik identik dengan pemberontakan terhadap sistem dan tatanan sosial dalam skala domestik hingga skala yang paling besar sekalipun, kebijakan politik serta ideologi sebuah negara yang menjadi tema dan ciri baru dalam sentral musik antipop sampai saat ini. Antipop banyak di pengaruhi oleh band-band oldscul metal macam Brujeria, Napalam Death, Carscass, Gorefest, Death, Agatochles, Entombed, Suffocation, Kreator, Cannibal Corpse, Godflesh, Brutalitiy dll. Dengan modal seperti inilah kami akan meracuni publik metal-Underground Bali khususnya dan Indonesia umumnya.Sebuah alasan mengapa kami mengunakan nama ini dikarenakan, Budaya pop merupakan budaya vernakular yang diamalkan oleh masyarakat modern. Kebanyakannya isi budaya pop ditentukan oleh industri-industri yang menyebarkan bahan-bahan kebudayaan, umpamanya film, televisyen dan industri-industri penerbitan, termasuk media berita. Walau bagaimanapun, budaya pop tidak boleh hanya dianggap sebagai produk aggregat industri-industri saja; sebaliknya, ia merupakan hasil daripada interaksi yang berlangsung antara industri-industri tersebut dan orang-orang di dalam masyarakat yang menggunakan produk-produk itu. Inilah yang agaknya telah menjadi semacam filsafat di balik perangai praktik-praktik gaya hidup di tengah arus budaya pop hari ini. Gaya hidup dan budaya pop adalah sebuah korelasi yang kian menjadi suatu keniscayaan ketika di dalamnya juga media massa, terutama televisi, turut berperan dan menjadi penanda penting dalam membentuk histeria budaya konsumerisme. Meski pada batas-batas tertentu gaya hidup tidaklah bisa disebut bahwa ia mencakup seluruh pengalaman sosial, namun dengan seluruh kecenderungannya di tengah arus budaya pop dan budaya konsumerisme yang dihembuskan oleh media, gaya hidup merupakan bagian dari kehidupan sosial sehari-hari dunia modern. Sebagai bagian dari pembentuk gaya hidup, budaya pop memaktubkan kekuatan provokasi dan seduksi-nya pada media massa, terutama iklan sebagai representasi citraan, karena itulah banyak disebut bahwa iklan adalah karya seni di abad 20.

Sebenaranya nama “ANTIPOP” ini merupakan sebuah simbul kecil atas perlawanan kami sebagai kaum minoritas atas banyaknya dampak negative yang dihasilkan & ditularkan ke masyarakat luas dengan cara tidak langsung melalui media yang bersifat massal. Ia, iklan, di tengah masyarakat kontemporer hari ini sesungguhnya tidaklah lagi berurusan dengan hal-hal yang sifatnya komersial, melainkan lebih menekan pada kekuatannya memproduksi dan mereproduksi citraan tentang sebuah realitas.

Tapi bagaimana pun budaya pop memang tak bisa kita negasikan, katakanlah atas nama demokrasi kebudayaan. Dalam kebudayaan poplah semua lapisan sosial hadir dan melebur tanpa kerumitan mengapresiasinya, ketimbang apa yang disebut orang dengan high-culture. Semuanya sudah mencair, demikian pula dalam persoalan global-lokal. Dalam konteks budaya pop dan korelasinya dengan fenomena gaya hidup, serta bagaimana seluruhnya itu dibangun oleh industrialisasi dan kapitalisme mutakhir yang menjadikan media sebagai agen ”propaganda”-nya inilah, budaya pop seringkali dicurigai sebagai sebuah kekuatan hegemonik yang fasis, ketika identitas dan imajinasi seseorang ditentukan dari atas.

Jelas semua ini ada pengaruhnya pada cara pandang terhadap realitas. Budaya pop membawa kita pada realitas yang serba permukaan. Realitas yang hanya sekadar kulit luarnya, realitas palsu, sebuah simulacra.

Error Scream adalah sebuah Band Yang mencoba memainkan musik Grindcore yang diperkuat oleh 4 orang yang mencoba menyatukan 4 pemikiran,mencari 4 persamaan dalam perbedaan yang ada dalam hati dan kemauan masing-masing personil dalam memainkan musik Error Scream. 4 orang itu adalah Wahyu sang Vokalis yang selalu berteriak dalam melantunkan lirik-lirik yang sedikit terdengar jelas artikulasinya,Sayatan Gitar yang memekakkan telingapun dilakukan dengan segenap jiwa dan raga yang menyatu dan dikerjakan oleh oknum yang bernama Boy,Cabikan Bass dari Krishna yang menderupun mencoba melengkapi alur nada berisik yang mengiringi Pukulan & tendangan yang rapat pada seperangkat Drum yang dimainkan oleh Tony yang tak kenal Lelah....Kami sepakat bahwa pada bulan 15 Maret 2008 adalah awal terbentuknya Error Scream...

Error Scream is a band dedicated themselves to the sound of Grindcore. Four different souls trying to collaborate their four energetic minds and pour all their energies into music. Grindcore. Those four souls are Wahyu, the one who tirelessly using the microphone to scream out the raucous rhyme from his throat to the world. Sounds of six string guitar that can blow your ears away is played by Boy. An unmistakably thundering sounds of bass coming out from Krishna ’s fingers, completed the powerful and error sounds of drums played by indefatigable Tony. March 15, 2008 is the day we will always remember as we raise our flag and scream out to the world.

FREEWILL

Grindcore

FREEWILL terbentuk pada akhir bulan November 2003 yang terdiri dari 4 personil, yaitu: Bayu (Vocal), Edy (Guitar), Odon (Bass), Yuda (Drum). FREEWILL memainkan musik yang berirama GRINDCORE yang terpengaruh dari band-band luar dan dalam negeri. Lirik-lirik lagu FREEWILL menceritakan tentang sosial, politik, alam, dan segala hal yang sedang terjadi di alam semesta ini.

Pada pertengahan tahun 2005, Bayu keluar dari FREEWILL karena dia harus konsentrasi pada pekerjaannya, sehingga kami hanya bermain dengan 3 orang yaitu: Edy (Vocal, Guitar), Odon (Bass, Vocal), dan Yuda (Drum). Pada awal tahun 2006 FREEWILL dibantu additional Vocal yaitu Bagong (ex. Cyber Machine) dan bermain pada acara Atribute to Sepultura, dan Warning Pembajak. Setelah itu FREEWILL kembali lagi dengan 3 orang. Dan pada awal tahun 2007 FREEWILL merekrut pemain guitar baru yaitu Dogler (ex. Hipnotize).

Pada tahun 2008 FREEWILL kembali merubah formasi dimana Odon berpindah sebagai Vocal, dan merekrut pemain bass yaitu Tugunk (ex. The Crusher, Neversoft, Territory). Di samping itu Yuda juga keluar karena sesuatu hal, dan digantikan sementara oleh Rega (Born By Mistake) dan ini tidak merubah format dari musik FREEWILL yang sampai saat ini masih menendangkan musik GRINDCORE.
